PULISIC AN IMPORTANT PIECE FOR NEW MANAGER

The transfer window is has been opened for over three weeks and several transfers have taken place. Chelsea would have to manage its large crop of players as the club is currently on a two transfer window ban from governing body FIFA.

Christian Pulisic is thought to be a major part of incoming manager Frank Lampard’s plans for the club.

The USA international made his big money move in January but actually joins this summer as he looks to begin his Chelsea career.

It is understood that Lampard sees the 20-year-old as a quality replacement on the left for Eden Hazard.

Pulisic is regarded as one of the best American players and would be hoping to have a similar impact like Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan enjoyed in the Premier League

Reports from England say that Chelsea youngster Martell Taylor-Crossdale is set to move to German outfit Hoffenheim.

According to Sky Sports, the 19-year-old forward is scheduled for a medical at the club this week before signing for the club on a free transfer. Taylor-Crossdale is considered as one of the top young forwards at Chelsea enjoying success within the youth ranks.

He finished as the top scorer in the u18 Premier League two seasons ago. He would be joining a new trend of young English players moving to Germany for first-team opportunities.

The likes of Jadon Sancho, Reiss Nelson and AdemolaLookman have enjoyed stints in Germany. Sancho has developed into an undisputed starter for the club after leaving Manchester City while Nelson has also enjoyed his time at Hoffenheim.

Chelsea is not known for promoting youth products with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Rueben Loftus-Cheek the only notable players that have made the grade in the past decade.

Taylor-Crossdale has what it takes to succeed in Germany as he possesses pace and a key eye for goal.
